Diabetes
The Diabetes Group will meet on Thursday, August
2 in the Scott & White Conference room on Williams Drive to
hear Dr. Vreeland, Scott & White Eye Doctor. We hope you will
join us to learn about how Diabetes affects our eyes and some
preventive care.


Grief
New meeting time: Meetings will be held on the first and
third Tuesday of the month from 1:30-3:30 p.m. at the Scott &
White Clinic off the main lobby. Contact Mardy Yonikas at 864-

Low Vision
Meets third Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. at St. David’s
Hospital Georgetown in Room 333. Contact Helen Sanders at

Multiple Myeloma
If you would be interested in forming a
support group in the area please call Chuck Baerman at 864-0408
or email at cbaermantx@aol.com. If we can get enough interest
in a MM support group, I will arrange for a central meeting
location and inform all those interested.

Parkinson’s
Meets the 4th Thursday of the month at 2 p.m.
in the Georgetown Health Foundation rooms at 2334 Williams
Drive. Our group is open to anyone who wants to attend—patient,
caregiver, spouse, family, friends...very open, very supportive!
Our group meets monthly with guest speakers along with helpful
hints for patients. Meetings end on a humorous, light note! For

Post Polio Survivors
The next meeting of the Post Polio Survivors’
group will be Thursday, September 27 at 10 a.m. in the

Prostate Cancer
The Prostate Cancer Support Group of Williamson
County will meet on August 9 from 3-5 p.m. at the Scott
& White Clinic Conference Room. Dr. Bird from Scott & White
Temple will discuss the Sling Procedure, which helps correct
urinary incontinence. Contact Dr. Bob Eanes at 240-5431, or

Pulmonary Support Group
Easy Breathers Pulmonary Support Group
3rd Wednesday of each month 1-2pm
Seton Williamson
201 Seton Parkway, Round Rock
Free and open to anyone living with chronic pulmonary disease (asthma, emphysema, fibrosis, COPD).

SC Helping Hands
We provide assistance to residents. Call if you need to borrow
baby necessities for little visitors or medical items such as wheelchairs,
walkers, etc., loaned to you on a temporary basis. Call:
