Lucy and Jerry Pate have been round dancing 16 years and have been teaching about 10 years in the Austin area. They teach a beginners class in Sun City. They also teach an extended basics and intermediate class there as well. They teach and cue for a club in Austin phases III - V on Monday nights. The Pates also cue on the second, third, and fourth Wednesdays at Shirts 'n Skirts in Georgetown at McCoy Elementary School.  Lucy and Jerry are members of Roundalab. They are also members of the Capital Area Dance Leaders Association, Texas Round Dance Teachers Association, and the United Round Dancers Council.
