The Sun City Horticulture Club is an active group dedicated to organic gardening.  The Club has a 6+ acre Community Garden located at 141 Sun City Blvd. near the softball field and dog park.  As you drive out of Sun City towards SH195, look for the windmill on your left.

We have over 260 raised garden beds measuring 5 ft. x 24 ft. and all beds have water provided by an onsite deep water well.  Plus, there are many opportunities for club members to participate and learn about herb gardening, fruit trees, wine making beekeeping and helping to maintain the property.

We hold fundraisers of seasonal sales of vegetable, herbs, perennial and annual plants to residents.  Organic products such as compost and compost tea are for sale almost year-round on Saturday mornings from 9-11 AM.

If you are interested in the Club, visit us for a tour Saturday mornings at the Garden.  Or come to a monthly meeting on second Tuesdays, 1 PM in the Atrium , where we have informative programs on gardening and related subjects.  We also have many social events during the year.
