Every two years the Texas UIL makes changes in the classification of Texas high schools for major sports based on attendance. In addition, they realignment the schools into Regions and Districts based on location and other schools in the area. Georgetown High and Georgetown East View have been classified as 4A for the 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 school years. Below is the detail information on the schools Georgetown will be completing with in district play.

This is a change of class, district and region for the Georgetown schools. So at the end of this school year it is farewell for two years to Pflugerville, Leander and the Round Rock schools. Pflugerville and the Round Rock schools (Round Rock, Stony Point, McNeil, Westwood) remain in Class 5A, District 16, and are joined by Round Rock Cedar Ridge and Pflugerville Hendrickson who moved up from Class 4A. Leander has been changed to 4A and moves to District 25 to join Leander Rouse and Cedar Park schools.
WESTWOOD STUNS EAGLES 48 - 37 TO HURT PLAYOFF PUSH
The Eagles are now 16 - 16 overall, and 6 - 5 in District. Next game is at home on Friday, February 10, 7:30pm against district leader McNeil.

Georgetown 69 Westwood 36
With the Win Georgetown finishes 10 - 2 in district play and an overall record goes to 26 - 4.
The next game will be at away in the Bi-District round of the Texas state playoffs. It will be either Monday or Tuesday evening, February 13 or 14 against the 3rd place team in District 15 5A (Westlake or Austin Bowie) who are also playing tonight.
