MS Excel Intermediate 2007

Three, 2 hour sessions
Fee: $15
Prerequisites: Computer Intro; XP/Vista Files & Folders; Comp Intro Win7; Beginning Win7 or equivalent experience; good mouse skills; MUST HAVE COMPLETED EXCEL INTRO 2007!!!
Course Description: Build on skills developed in the introductory class to allow the user to explore advanced features of Excel and to develop proficiency in using the program. Special attention will be given to the myriad applications of Excel.
Course Objectives: By the end of this course, you will be able to:
• Apply advanced navigation skills in Excel
• Use conditional and logical functions in formulae
• Create and manage lists • Use Excel to create charts
• Use Excel as an analytical tool
Course Summary: In this intermediate class, we will explore ways to apply Excel as a practical tool for everyday use. Part of each session will include a discussion of novel uses of Excel to simplify complex chores.
