MS Word Tabs, Columns, and Tables

Description
This class allows you to expand your knowledge and use of MS WORD functions
for
formatting and creating tables and columns.
Prerequisites
All the below OR
equivalent experience

Computer Intro,

MS Word Intro

OR
skills in using MS Word for entering, editing, formatting, printing and saving a
document
Objectives
This course will enable you to use additional MS WORD functions and applications to
produce tables with both text and numeric data, including formulas and calculations; edit
documents using tabs, and create columns for specific applications such as newsletters,
brochures,
and publications.
Course Summary
.
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:
Set regularly spaced or random tabs to enter text into columns.
Create columns and flow text in a variety of formats.
Create a table for arranging text and numeric data in a spreadsheet-style
document.
Enter formulas to do simple calculations of numeric text.
Convert tabbed text into a table or table to text.
