Windows 7 Email Options OR Understanding Windows 7
OR
equivalent
experience
Course Description: Windows 7 is the most recent upgrade from
Windows XP and Windows Vista. However, it arrived without an email client like Outlook
Express (XP) or Windows Mail (Vista). However, Microsoft provides an email client
program located on its website called Windows LIVE Mail, which can be downloaded and installed free
from the Microsoft website. This course teaches you how to find that download and how to set
up an account, transfer your contacts, and use the program to send/receive email, attach
documents/pictures, organize folders, and adjust the way your email looks as it arrives and leaves
your email program. We are teaching the newest version, released in 2011, which utilizes a
ribbon instead of a menu bar for commands and functions.
We highly recommend that you enroll in The Ribbon class after you complete the Windows LIVE
Mail class.
