Computer Intro (or Intro to Personal Computers 101 and 102)

Windows 2 (or Windows 102 Files and Folders)

Some familiarity with the Control Panel
Performance Objectives:
This course covers the basics of setting up both wired and simple wireless home
networks. It is designed for persons with two or more computers at home, or those who are thinking
about getting two or more computers, persons who are interested in sharing an Internet connection
between two or more computers and those with just a desire to know more about how these things are
done.
In this class you will learn about:

What networks are good for

Protocols
-
Networking devices
-
Network addressing, and
-
How to set up a simple wired home network with Internet access through a cable or
DSL modem.
