Description: This course introduces you to the Google Search Engine and is an overview of all its component parts.  You will learn what Google has to offer in free programs and how to search and use the Google menus.  Additional classes will be offered for in-depth instruction on some of the Google features, including Picasa and Gmail.

Prerequisites:  None

Objectives & Course Summary:  Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:

• Access the Google Search Engine,
• Default to the Google Search Engine,
• Locate the component parts offered on Google,
• Understand and use the drop-down menus,
• Understand how to download the Google toolbar, and 
• Use Google to search the Internet for specific topics/services,
• Use Google Maps
• Use Google Earth
• Find and locate Google Help pages
