Enrolling students must
have Adobe Photoshop Elements version 3, 4, 5, or 6 installed on their home computer.

Students must know how to
move photographic images into a computer.
Note: The Classroom computers equipped with Adobe Photoshop Elements 6, Windows
version, which is identical to the Mac version in editing capability and function.
Intended Audience:
This class is limited in scope to the use of the Photoshop Elements Organizer, which
enables the user to organize and search for photos stored in a computer by categories.
This is not a “survey class” for those with a cursory or exploratory interest in
photographic editing. Those interested in a survey class are referred to Photoshop Overview, a
meeting offered periodically by the Photoshop Instructors.
This class does not deal with photo editing. These skills are taught in
Photoshop 1 and 2.
Performance Objectives:
After completing this course the student should be able to:

Use the “library functions” in Photoshop Elements (Cataloging) to organize photos in
their computer.

Tag photos with searchable categories.
