1) Begin - choose photos from folders to import

2) Edit - work on a story in progress

3) Play - review a story in progress

Screen 2 - IMPORT -

 

 

1) Import photos by selecting from folders

Arrange your photos in sequential order by drag and drop

2) Edit your photos. Edit buttons below photo

Screen 3 - ARRANGE & EDIT -

 

 

1)     Add Text Options for font, size, and location on photo

2)     Drop down menu below photo for some special effects

Screen 4 - NARRATE & MOTION & TRANSITIONS

 

 

1) Narrate your photos Need a microphone. Type your narration in box provided to read and adjust time of slide to duration of narration. Can reread it until you get it right

2) Customize motion - Most work intensive part of PhotoStory3. Click customize motion button

a) Specify start and end position for motion of photo.

Options are scroll sideways, up and down, in and out.

b) Specify duration of slide.

3) Select transitions tab.. Determine type of change from one slide to another for each slide transition

Close this screen to return to Narration.

Select a music file or create your own

Screen 6 - SAVE

 

 

Save your Story. Change defaults in Settings Enter movie name.

Project saved as a .wp3 file and can be edited in the future

PS3 creates a .wmv file for universal viewing.
