MICROSOFT EXCEL SIG
Meets the First Thursday
Each Month at 3:00 p.m. in the
CyberCenter Annex
However, meeting dates for February and March have been changed as follows in the CC Annex:
February 16 at 1:00 p.m. & March 15 at 3:00 p.m.
The Excel SIG is designed to facilitate exchange of ideas on how Excel can be put to use in practical, everyday applications. We begin with a question or suggestion of how one would use Excel to work on a task or project. The “how to” will be addressed once we understand what it is we want to accomplish. Excel is the best analytical tool on the planet and we don’t want to be limited by how well we understand the detail of the program – we want to use imagination to apply Excel to as many chores as possible.
We’ll discover how to use Excel to:
Create and manage lists to keep up with routine chores
Make forms and charts, create budgets
Track golf handicaps, make sense out of tons of data
. . . . . . . and much more.
Members are invited to exchange their experiences and knowledge
of Excel with others. This is an excellent opportunity to have your
questions addressed in the meeting by sending them to –
Blaine Gibbs, Excel SIG Leader excel@sctxcompclub.org
