Mentor Help Request Form
The Sun City Computer Club Mentor Program is a source for help with Member computer problems by phone, remote assistance programs or, if necessary, by visiting the Member's home. The Mentors are Computer Club members who volunteer to help other members without remuneration and are not professionals. They assist to the best of their abilities. They provide this service with the understanding that they (the Mentor and the Computer Club) WILL NOT BE HELD LIABLE for any problems a Mentor might unintentionally cause. In some cases the Mentor will be unable to resolve a problem and will either suggest another Mentor, or that the Member use a local computer repair shop. Furthermore, in those instances where a Computer Club member’s computer is used for business purposes, Mentors may decline to attempt to solve any software or hardware problems due to potentially higher liability. Users/owners of computers that are used in business should consult a bonded and insured Professional. TIP: Use "Tab," or the mouse, to move from field to field on the form. Do not hit "Enter" until you finish filling out the form, or it will be prematurely submitted. This form is for use by SCTX Computer Club Members to request assistance from a Club Mentor. Your completed request form will be sent by email to the volunteer Mentors, one of whom will contact you if he or she believes he/she can resolve your problem. Your name, phone number or e-mail address will not be posted on the Web site. |
