DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists the Computer Club President in the overall executive direction of the
Computer Club by providing advice and counsel, participating in policy and procedural decisions,
and serving as Membership Director.
Exercises oversight and control of the Membership Database, ensuring that accurate
and timely additions and deletions are made, and that the integrity and security of the system are
not compromised. Oversees the receipt of membership applications and dues from new and
renewing members and directs the recording of information and fees. Regularly transfers
checks and cash, with payment information, to the Treasurer, and coordinates the membership list
with the Communications Director to reconcile discrepancies and otherwise perfect the
list. Provides guidance and direction to the database staff. Provides
participation reports to the Community Association, as required.
REPORTS TO:
The Club President, who provides overall objectives and guidance. The Membership Director is
expected to exercise initiative in accomplishing objectives within the policies established by the
Executive Board.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Overall knowledge of the Computer Club organization and functions. Organizational and
communication skills; ability to plan and administer Membership functions and programs; and skill
in establishing interpersonal relationships.
