This is an informal group of Sun City Cajuns. You need not be born Cajun...just enjoy the unique Cajun Joie de Vivre (attitude towards life). Our goal is to promote and preserve the culture, lifestyle, food, music, and other aspects of the Acadian Heritage, and HAVE FUN DOING IT...! No rules, no dues, just an occasional gathering or outing.

Hello Everyone,
Hope you are having a good year and enjoying this beautiful Sun City weather.
In co-operation with the CA, our plans are to have some sort of Cajun event during the fair weather months. Look over the schedule below and make plans to attend. I have the pavilion and ballroom booked for our entire year, so mark the date on your calendars.
Hope to see some of you at the N13 Mardi Gras ball ... be sure to stop by our table and say hello.

RECIPE
Strawberry Fudge
1 (16 oz) can of strawberry frosting
1 12 oz bag of white chocolate chip
Prepare a 9x9 pan spray lightly with cooking spray
Use Double boiler, or microwave, to melt your white chocolate chips.
When chips are melted, remove from heat and stir in your strawberry frosting, evenly.
Spread in your prepared pan and place in fridge to set for 30 minutes.
Cut into squares to serve.

"Tee" Boudreaux Is In Love
The pretty young school teacher was concerned about one of her eleven year old students, "Tee" Boo.
Taking him aside after class one day, she asked, " 'Tee', why has your school work been so poor lately?"
"Mais, I can't concentrate, Teacher !" replied :"Tee". "I done fell in love."
"Oh, is that so?" said the teacher, holding back an urge to smile. "And with whom?"
"Mais, wid you," he answered.
"But 'Tee'," exclaimed the secretly pleased young lady, "don't you see how silly that is? It's true that I would like a husband of my own someday; but I don't want a child."
"Oh, don't worry, Teacher" said "Tee" reassuringly, "I'll be careful."

For those that have never witnessed Sun City's very own Buzzy Hart perform as DJ, you are in for a real treat. You'll hear Cajun, Zydeco, Swamp Pop, and whatever surprises he has up his sleeve. I assure you, he will entertain you "every which way but loose". Don't miss this one, it is shaping up to be a fun evening. The Pavilion will accommodate about 150, so send me an email and let me know if you plan to make it. Then, just show up with your favorite beverage and snacks ... sit back and enjoy ... you are welcome to bring a lawn chair if you'd like.

Our total is up to 24 that have sent in their deposit for this cruise. Look over the info below and contact the agent. I'll send out a list of everyone that has signed up as soon as I have the details worked out.

Our contact with the Travel Agency is Cathy Cooley ... at 337-981-7870, she is our travel coordinator ... be sure to let her know that you are with the Sun City Cajun Club ... she will be able to place all of our rooms in the same general area of the ship, and also schedule us to dine together.
While I was speaking with Duhon, he informed me that Wayne Toups would perform about 4 concerts ... only those booking through his agency will be admitted in to the concerts.
