The Visual Arts Club was organized to provide programs that offer members a wide range of art subjects designed to provide opportunities for creative involvement and active participation in a variety of art arenas.  The Club sponsors art exhibits and other artists’ programs.  Artwork created by members is for sale and on display in the Studio located in the Activities Center.  Social events include monthly luncheons, art treks to area art museums, galleries, and artists’ studios.  We sponsor several special art exhibits each year.

           Members and local artists teach classes and workshops in our Studio.  Some of the classes offered each year are Beginning and Intermediate Oil, Watercolor, Pastel, Chinese Brush Painting, Portrait Drawing, Acrylic and Collage.  A small fee is charged for class participation.

           Membership in the Visual Arts Club is open to all residents in good standing of Sun City Texas.  Dues are paid annually.  The Studio is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.  We welcome new members and visitors!
