There you will find a Meeting Calendar showing

available Classes and instructions on how to contact a Mentor to help with your computer related
problem. A variety of other information is also available there.
The Computer Club is the largest chartered club
in
Sun City
Texas
with more than 2300 members at the end of August,
2007. Club membership provides access to a variety of computer related programs.
Reasons to join the Computer Club:

Mentor Program - Provides access to a group of volunteer skilled experts who will
help you resolve any computer related problem that you may have.

Training Program - An extensive line-up of training classes is offered covering
everything from beginning to advanced computer topics for both Macintosh and Windows based systems.
Classes are conducted in our CyberCenter Classroom that is equipped with twelve PCs and six
Macintosh equipped student stations.

CyberCenter Lab - A completely equipped computer lab is available for your use
Monday through Saturday. Ten PCs, two Macs, printers, scanners and various audio/visual media
conversion equipment are available for use.
Visitors welcome.

Monday, 1 PM Meetings - A program on a computer related topic is presented every
Monday at 1 PM in the Ballroom. Visitors welcome.

Special Interest Groups - Special Interest Groups focus on a specific topic and
provide an opportunity to share and learn with others having similar interests. Some of our more
popular SIGs are Digital Camera SIG, Genealogy SIG, Beginners SIG, Kaffee Klatch SIG (intermediate
user Q&A) and Macintosh SIGs.

Media Conversion Program - The Club provides equipment and instruction for your use
to convert your analog media such as LPs, audio tapes, slides, photographs, video tape and 8 mm
movie film into digital CDs or DVDs.

Volunteer Opportunities - Numerous opportunities exist for you to help with the
Club's operation. We especially need additional volunteers to serve as Lab Monitors, Social
Committee members, Training Class Instructors and Assistants, Mentors and Systems Administrators to
maintain Lab equipment.
Membership in the Computer Club is available to
all Sun City residents for an annual fee of $10 for the first member of a household and $5 for each
additional household member.
The membership fee includes participation in all
of the above listed programs except for Training Classes. Training Class fees are $5 for each
two-hour session with classes being from one to four sessions in length. To apply for membership in
the Computer Club stop by the CyberCenter Lab during regular hours (shown below).
